Web Designer/Developer
Description:
We are currently seeking a web designer/developer to join our production team. You will work on every aspect of the development process from design to implementation.
You will be responsible for the all aspects of developing web sites and web applications and providing expert technical leadership in regards to web site development. You will be required to use web 2.0 standards and technologies, PHP and MySQL. Proven abilities to solve problems through research and experience will be critical in the effort of "getting the job done."
Job Responsibilities Include:
Managing implementation process and working with client, maintaining files and organization for production team, working with graphic designer for creative GUI implementation, integrate database and design, designing with up-to-date search engine optimization practices, using, designing, and implementing content management systems (CMS), integrating e-commerce solutions, and development of light flash requirements.
Status:
Independent contractor for 90 days. Upon performance review, full-time employment.
Compensation Structure:
Set rate per project as independent contractor
$26,000-$35,000 full-time range depending upon experience and performance
Requirements/Skills Necessary:
- Bachelors in Web Design or equivalent work experience
- Strong portfolio of previous work
- 1 year experience in: database programming (PHP & MySQL), corporate web presence, SEO, HTML
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Fireworks, and Macromedia Dreamweaver
- Working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Acrobat
- Access to a home office environment, broadband connection and private phone line (landline or mobile)
