Account Manager / Sales
Description:
We are currently seeking account managers for the West Houston/Katy territory. The account manager will provide one-on-one service to clients throughout life of working relationship. This position is an excellent career opportunity for an
experienced outside salesperson.
The account manager will develop new business customers in their territory. Reporting to the Sales Manager, the account manager will be able to self-generate new leads and have the ability to close new commercial business in an outside sales environment. The account manager must also be able to develop and make presentations to key decision-makers. The account manager must have the ability to quickly comprehend technical features of our services. Previous commercial prospecting and outside sales experience in a business-to-business environment is a must.
Status:
Independent contractor for 90 days. Upon performance review, full-time employment.
Compensation Structure:
Commission plus residual bonus
Requirements/Skills Necessary:
- At least 1 year of B2B outsides sales experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent follow-up and organizational skills
- The ability to "self start" and work independently
- Sales within technology, marketing, consulting fields a plus
- Strong practical knowledge of the application of web development theory in the development of quotations and proposals for new media clients
- Knowledge of web design, PHP/MySql, ASP/SQL, ColdFusion, Access databases, JAVA, javascript, HTML and search engine optimization techniques considered a plus
- Access to a home office environment, broadband connection and private phone line (landline or mobile)
